Job Description:

The Clerk-Accounting role at the AC Hotel Panama City involves managing financial records, performing accounting tasks, and ensuring accuracy in financial data handling. This includes preparing and distributing financial reports, maintaining spreadsheets, reconciling account statements, and supporting the hotel's operating standards. The position also emphasizes professional conduct, teamwork, communication, and adherence to company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
organize, secure, and maintain financial records
record and analyze computerized financial data
create spreadsheets for financial records
classify, code, and summarize financial data
prepare and distribute financial reports
complete closing procedures and reports
issue bills, invoices, and account statements
maintain confidentiality of information
address service needs professionally
communicate clearly and professionally
maintain positive working relationships
follow company policies and procedures
perform additional tasks as requested.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
organize, secure, and maintain financial records
proficiency in creating spreadsheets for financial data
ability to classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
prepare, maintain, and distribute financial reports
complete period-end closing procedures
issue bills, invoices, and account statements
professional communication skills
ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
adhere to company policies and procedures.
