The Clerical Support specialist will provide administrative support for the BPV Division within the Department of Fire Services. This role requires a professional, organized individual capable of handling clerical duties in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Handling inbound calls and routing as appropriate
Processing and distributing incoming/outgoing mail
Managing program-related documents and correspondence
Processing Certificate of Inspection (COI) fees
Printing and mailing certificates, invoices, and notices of violation
Preparing and issuing license renewals
Scanning, filing, and maintaining organized records
Providing general administrative assistance to support departmental operations
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional and courteous phone etiquette
Customer service experience
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and stay organized
Reliable and dependable work ethic
Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (1+ year)
