Job Responsibility:
Making and booking patient appointments accurately using the practice system
Answering telephone queries in a professional and courteous manner
Managing and amending appointment times on the system as required
Responding to patient queries efficiently and appropriately
Maintaining accurate patient records in line with practice procedures
Using practice office systems effectively and consistently
Supporting the wider administrative team as required
Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements
Using Microsoft Excel for administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
Previous experience working within office systems in a practice or healthcare setting
Excellent telephone manner and strong telephone etiquette
Experience making and managing patient appointments
Ability to listen carefully to patients and respond appropriately
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow direction and work within established procedures
Comfortable working as part of a team and sharing workload equally
