We're looking for someone to join our reception and clerical team, where you'll help ensure the smooth running of our busy Emergency Department. You'll provide a professional and compassionate service, supporting patients, families, and medical staff in critical moments. We're looking for someone with a caring attitude, quick thinking, and a desire to help.
Job Responsibility:
Provide a welcoming reception service for patients, ambulance staff and visitors
Support resus situations by taking essential patient details
Register patients and ensure accurate data entry in the Careflow PAS system
Direct patients to appropriate areas and answer questions with excellent customer service
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professionalism in challenging situations
Schedule follow-up appointments
Requirements:
GCSE Maths and English
Experience of general office duties
Previous experience of dealing with the general public in a workplace setting
Previous experience of using a computerised client database
Excellent keyboard skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to cope with conflicting demands and time pressures
Persuasive and influencing skills
Ability to use own initiative
Ability to remain calm and professional
