Job Description

The Specialist Clinics Clerical Lead role is to provide professional, efficient and patient-centered care to administration functions within Austin Health Specialist Clinics Division to enhance patient access and service delivery. The role works as part of a supportive team, meeting the accountability requirements for the Department of Health (DoH) reporting. The role is central in participating in Divisional initiatives to enhance patient care and meet Divisional and organizational key performance indicators. The Clerical Lead will work across a number of portfolios and also other administration roles when required including referral registration, clinic administration, call centre and billing.

  • Assist Government personnel with obtaining a Government Courier Card by providing briefs & forms, obtaining required signatures on the form & card, and maintaining the Courier Card database for S3I. Report monthly to G2 Security POC regarding S3I Courier Card database
  • Proper handling of classified materials by assigning control numbers for document control of incoming/outgoing packages, verifying the proper labeling of data matches paperwork (3964), securely wrapping outgoing packages, & proper storage of classified data that is awaiting receipt by appropriate personnel
