Job Description

Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Clerical/Admin Assistant to join a busy team within HM Prison Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within the justice sector, supporting essential administrative operations in a varied and hands-on role.

Job Responsibility

  • Organising and moving archived records between departments
  • Packaging and storing files within the prison
  • Photocopying and document handling
  • Supporting general administrative tasks
  • Assisting the team with day-to-day office duties
  • Completing manual handling and lifting as required

Requirements

  • Confident and able to work independently
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude
  • IT literate with good communication skills
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Able to attend site every day
  • Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential
