We’re working with a leading financial markets infrastructure business looking to hire a Clearing Services Analyst to join their Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build deep expertise across clearing, settlement, and risk operations within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage trade lifecycle events including settlement, expiry, and option exercises
  • Oversee position management and reconciliations
  • Support physical delivery processes where applicable
  • Maintain and validate static data (members, products, calendars)
  • Support margin processes, including intraday margin calls through to settlement
  • Develop understanding of risk models (initial margin, stress testing, default fund methodologies)
  • Assist in pricing validation and understanding market impacts on operational processes
  • Act as a point of contact for client and member queries
  • Build relationships with internal teams and external counterparties (banks, custodians, clearing members)
  • Support default management processes in the event of counterparty issues
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing operational controls and risk frameworks
  • Get involved in automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Support projects to enhance systems, workflows, and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience within clearing, settlements, or broader operations in financial services
  • Strong interest in risk, margining, and market infrastructure
  • High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
