Job Responsibility

  • Document and track component and system-level performance requirements and develops acceptance criteria for the subsystems and system which help shape project scope, schedules, cost estimates, and deliverables aligned with mission objectives in the cyber-physical domain
  • Plan and coordinate technical projects alongside principal investigators, engaging internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Establish and maintain configuration management practices to ensure operational efficiency and repeatability
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams with tactical planning and leadership to achieve project goals
  • Document and track project risks and interfaces with stakeholders to develop mitigation and contingency plans
  • Coordinate program reviews and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes through clear briefings, reports, and presentations
  • Interface with the customer and those responsible for developing, testing, and implementing the system and its elements to ensure that customer expectations are met
  • Develop tailored project plans and coordinate with resources to meet objectives
  • collaborate with business teams and principal investigators to monitor performance, manage scope changes, and implement contingency plans in accordance with cost and schedule constraints
  • Conduct project postmortems and integrate lessons learned to continuously improve processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business, Communication, Systems Engineering, or a closely related engineering field, plus four (4) years relevant experience
  • Experience in systems engineering tools and processes, including requirements engineering, configuration management, and risk management
  • Experience planning, organizing, and driving technical efforts to successful completion by partnering with customers and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including coordinating rapid response efforts to resolve challenges and facilitate collaboration
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure
  • Experience taking initiative and establishing processes in environments with minimal guidance
  • Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent (e.g., DOD Top Secret)
  • Ability to maintain an SCI clearance, which may require a polygraph test
