Job Description:

We're seeking for a Clearance purser join our dynamic Administrative Department onboard Costa vessels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage, update and secure all guest identification data, working closely with relevant Authorities, Port Agents, and shore-side offices
  • Check visas and passports verifying all non-EU documents to ensure compliance with required prerequisites
  • Coordinate with Port Agent regarding all requests during the Port of Call
  • Notify the Deck and Hotel Departments at each departure to update the status of guests and crew on board
  • Check the documents of external technicians that embark to provide maintenance support
  • Prepare all necessary Customs manifest and landing cargo manifest
  • Prepare onboard final Guest List and distributes the list to all Heads of Department and to Port Agent
  • Cooperate with Crew Purser for the production and distribution of Crew Costa badges and Company documents
  • Support the organization of the onboard activity and enhance health standards

Requirements:

  • Secondary school degree
  • Accounting and MS Office (Excel)
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Previous experience in a similar position of at least one year
  • English knowledge at least at B2 level
  • Italian Knowledge at A2 level and a second language between Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese (Mandarin) at B1 level
