We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Customs Clearance team as a Clearance Broker.

Job Responsibility:

  • Reviewing shipments data to understand the exact customer and regulatory requirements and checking the accuracy and completeness of documentation supplied
  • Using in-house systems to create accurate and legally compliant clearance declarations
  • Contacting customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed
  • Resolving routine customer and customs disputes
  • Building effective relationships with our customers and helping them to choose the best suited clearance services
  • Working within tight time frames in a busy office environment

Requirements:

  • Good team working skills with experience of contributing to team performance in a busy office environment
  • Experience or working knowledge of key clearance related principles, Import/Export processes and regulatory requirements
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to make sound numerical decisions within tight time deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good Microsoft Office and PC skills
