As part of the cleansing team, you will have the chance to work on various council projects and contribute to your community. We are seeking reliable candidates who value teamwork, prioritise safety, and can adhere to council-specific guidelines. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of cleansing tasks and maintenance duties, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of public spaces.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate a 14kg backpack leaf-blower while walking approximately 25km per day to ensure our streets and pathways remain clear
  • Street furniture cleaning: Ensuring that street furniture, such as benches and public fixtures, are clean and presentable
  • Cleaning and sanitising public amenities: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising public amenities, such as restrooms, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for the public
  • Litter collection of mall spaces: Collecting litter and maintaining cleanliness in mall areas, keeping them tidy and welcoming for visitors

Requirements

  • Reliable car and drivers licence
