Job Description:

Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Industrial Cleaning Team Leader to join a busy industrial and manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, maintaining high standards, and ensuring safe and efficient cleaning operations across the site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading and supervising a team of industrial cleaning operatives
  • Allocating daily cleaning tasks and managing workloads to ensure all areas are maintained to the required standards
  • Monitoring cleaning performance and addressing any issues promptly
  • Ensuring all health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations are followed
  • Conducting regular inspections to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Supporting the training and development of team members
  • Ensuring correct use of cleaning equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an industrial or commercial cleaning environment
  • Supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards
