Citizen owns and manages 30,000 homes for diverse communities across the West Midlands, from urban tower blocks to rural villages and towns. Our busy Communal Cleaning Team delivers cleaning services across Coventry. In this role, you will manage and support a team of mobile and static Cleaning Technicians based across all three locations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and support a team of mobile and static Cleaning Technicians
Responsible for the day-to-day planning of workloads
Supervising staff
Ensuring high cleaning standards are maintained within a social housing environment
Hands-on experience in all aspects of communal cleaning, including corridors, lifts, foyers, bin stores, welfare rooms, toilets, stairwells, litter picking, and immediate external areas
Training staff
Carrying out quality audits
Ensuring standards are consistently met
Complete regular one-to-one meetings
Manage sickness reviews
Provide ongoing support and performance feedback to your team

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience
Experience leading or managing teams in an operational environment
Ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team while promoting a positive company image
Confidence managing performance, attendance, and sickness issues
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
A team-focused approach with good customer skills
A full driving licence and willingness to drive a small company van
A basic DBS check
