Our busy Communal Cleaning Team delivers cleaning services across Coventry. In this role, you will manage and support a team of mobile and static Cleaning Technicians based across all three locations. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day planning of workloads, supervising staff, and ensuring high cleaning standards are maintained within a social housing environment. You’ll bring strong, hands-on experience in all aspects of communal cleaning, including corridors, lifts, foyers, bin stores, welfare rooms, toilets, stairwells, litter picking, and immediate external areas. You’ll also be confident in training staff, carrying out quality audits, and ensuring standards are consistently met. As part of the role, you’ll complete regular one-to-one meetings, manage sickness reviews, and provide ongoing support and performance feedback to your team.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience
Experience leading or managing teams in an operational environment
Ability to motivate, develop, and lead a team while promoting a positive company image
Confidence managing performance, attendance, and sickness issues
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
A team-focused approach with good customer skills
A full driving licence and willingness to drive a small company van
