Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Full Time Cleaning Supervisor at our University of Sunshine Coast - Sippy Downs site. The roster for this position is: Monday to Friday 6:00AM - 2:06PM. If you have a leadership cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise a Cleaning Team
  • Supporting the Cleaning Manager on staff related matters
  • Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training
  • Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences
  • Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc
  • Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client
  • Understand customer's security, environmental and safety requirements
  • Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries

  • Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in commercial cleaning
  • Previous experience supervising a team
  • Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Ability to give direction and instruction to people
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Valid work rights in Australia
