Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Cleaning Operative, working at an shopping centre in Chippenham, SN15 area. The Shopping Centre Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive to detail, and capable of maintaining high cleanliness standards in a busy public environment.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct regular floor checks throughout the shopping mall to identify and promptly clean any spillages or remove rubbish from the floor
Ensure both main entrance doors are kept clean and presentable at all times
Check public toilets every hour, ensuring they are clean, hygienic, and well-stocked
Clean all areas within the shopping centre as outlined in the contract
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ensuring all cleaning activities are carried out safely and hygienically
Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard floors and carpeted areas, including walkways and common areas
Dust and wipe down surfaces such as ledges, windowsills, counters, fixtures, and seating areas
Clean internal glass, including shopfront glass, doors, and entrance areas
Empty general waste and recycling bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with procedures
Clean and sanitise public toilet facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops
Check public toilets at regular intervals and replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
Clean food court and common seating areas, including tables, chairs, and surrounding surfaces
Ensure entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas are kept clean, safe, and presentable at all times
