Job Description:

To conform to the cleaning specification and schedules and carry out cleaning duties as required with a view to continuously develop and improve quality standards. To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues, and others who may be affected by your work activities. Cleaning a small communal area, this includes a kitchen, washrooms and lobby area. NE63 Ashington area, 4 hours weekly.

Job Responsibility:

Conform to cleaning specification and schedules
Carry out cleaning duties to continuously develop and improve quality standards
Take direct interest in health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and others
Clean small communal area including kitchen, washrooms and lobby area in NE63 Ashington area for 4 hours weekly
Carry out window cleaning inline with correct specifications and health and safety standards
Update supervisor of any changes on site
Liaise with supervisor/line manager to review sites and reviews work on Jobber allocation system
Be punctual and attend for duty as requested
Achieve highest standard of work with positive team spirit
Meet managers, clients, and company expectations
Respond to any reasonable request of company or client
Ensure products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored
Use initiative to resolve problems where appropriate
Ensure appearance and conduct comply with company expectations and appropriate clothing/PPE is always worn
Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues
Maintain confidentiality on all matters pertaining to Pareto and client

Requirements:

Experience within cleaning
Ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with client personnel and visitors
Responsibility for checking quality of own work and supervising less experienced staff when required
Ability to communicate orally/written with site manager and client's staff
Ability to make routine decisions based on personal experience, own initiative, or discussions with client's contact
Ability to solve common technical problems independently using past experience
Need to be alert at all times with high concentration when working on machinery and following Health & Safety guidelines
Flexibility to cover a wide range of activities and respond to interruptions
Ability to work in a variety of conditions, mainly inside
