Be a part of a new initiative within Scope’s Employment Pathways division that creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with a disability who have expressed an interest in developing skills in cleaning. As our new Cleaning Crew Coordinator, reporting to the Property Care Team Leader, you will empower supported employees with a disability to build skills, confidence, and independence while delivering high‑quality cleaning services. This role is ideal for someone with a growth mindset who enjoys hands‑on work, is comfortable cleaning and leading by example, and is passionate about mentoring others while creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coach, mentor, and train supported employees in cleaning tasks, equipment use, and safe work practices
  • Allocate daily cleaning tasks and ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Provide on-the-job training that builds new skills for people with a disability
  • Undertake cleaning duties across Scope offices, including bathroom, kitchen, and general areas
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain cleaning records
  • Comply with Scope's workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role and/or experience supporting people with a disability
  • Clear communication, high emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills
  • Current NSW Driver’s License (P2 and above)
  • WWCC | NDISWC | First Aid and CPR | NDIS Orientation Module
