Job Description

Kingdom Cleaning have an excellent opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our established and successful team. The role covers a wide and area and incorporates a portfolio of contracts which is essential to the ongoing development of Kingdom Cleaning. The Contract Manager is required to have strong customer relationship skills, excellent organisational skills and a willingness to provide a professional and consistent service at all times. Whilst working as part of a team. The ability to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and be proactive in you daily approach is essential, as well as flexibility and a strong sense of professionalism. You must be able to deal with all matter and queries in an appropriate manner with tact and diplomacy. This is a hands-on position as well as one of a supervisory and managerial nature.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the regional and account management teams with the cleaning operation within their area of responsibility
  • Responsible for motivating and training the cleaning operatives to meet the business objectives
  • Implement, monitor and control cleaning operations to ensure that Client and Company requirements are achieved
  • Maintain a pipeline that enables the region to maintain and grow its cleaning business with existing and new named clients
  • Install appropriate team headcount and structure against a methodology
  • Control of team structure, salaries and terms and conditions to recruit and retain the best talent possible to form effective teams
  • Install written process, ownership, accountability, teamwork, and capability building
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
  • Recognise and reward and maintain the right balance between colleague happiness and drive
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance & constructive management of conflicts
  • Succession planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions

Requirements

  • Senior operation leadership experience – minimum of 2 years or experience in a similar role in the cleaning sector
  • Knowledge expert/professional in the service field/s
  • Client account management at senior level, ideally with multi-location responsibilities
  • Good communication skills
  • A full clean UK driving licence holder
  • A full five-year checkable employment history, including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, and right of work compliance
  • Other appropriate professional qualifications
