Job Description:

Permanent, part time position working 30 hours per week. Heidelberg location, Monday – Friday with early morning starts. Base salary + allowances + generous salary packaging + super. Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and statewide. Job Responsibility:

  • Help keep our hospital clean, safe, and comfortable for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Clean areas to the acceptable standard expected in a healthcare setting

Requirements:

  • Prior cleaning experience in a healthcare or commercial environment
  • Ability to use mechanical equipment
  • A Victorian drivers licence to use Street Sweepers and Pressure Washers
  • Be able to work various shifts including various start and finish times across all Austin Health campuses
  • Ensure Safe Work practices and best sustainability practices are adhered to in accordance with Austin Health Policies
  • Effective communication skills, reliability and punctuality
  • Be prepared to undergo a National Criminal Record Check (compulsory) and a Working with Children Check
