Job Description:

Join our Client Support Team at Convene and gain valuable experience in hospitality and events - where we don’t just run meetings and events, we create unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impression.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain the venue and its facilities in excellent condition and ensure all meeting room and public area are set to Company standards
  • Ensure that the venue complies with all aspect of Health and Safety and that all staff are trained to the minimum legal requirement
  • Provide professional, friendly, and proactive customer service
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • Clean, collect, and remove rubbish and trash throughout the venue
  • Perform routine cleaning services such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing glass throughout the venue
  • Ensure security procedures are adhered to, particularly concerning closing the venue each day
  • Service and tidy all meeting rooms at break times, including lunch
  • Implement a deep cleaning schedule and carry out quality checks
  • Maintain a stock control system for cleaning supplies
  • Undertake any additional tasks that senior management deems appropriate
  • Support the Conference Service Manager, ensuring meeting rooms meet high standards for all events
  • Ensure effective communication between all departments regarding client services
  • Participate in daily and weekly rota meetings
  • Represent the venue as a health and safety officer/fire officer, ensuring mandatory checks, fire alarm tests, and evacuation drills are carried out per safety regulations
  • Participate in monthly health and safety meetings

Requirements:

  • Must currently reside in the UK and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Be available for weekend work when necessary
  • Be available for staff briefings and company events
  • Be located within a commutable distance to the City Of London area
