Cleaner Streets Team Leader

• Transport your team to various locations throughout the County Borough
• Oversee and assist in the removal of litter, fly-tipping, and graffiti using specialized equipment
• Adjust work patterns and resources daily to accommodate service variations
• Ensure the safe keeping and proper use of council vehicles (up to 3.5T, DL required) and equipment
• Supervise emergency responses to flooding or traffic accidents and manage traffic management setups

• A proven track record of supervising staff in a front-line, operational service area
• Prior experience in a cleansing role with a deep understanding of environmental standards
• A full, clean driving licence and Traffic Management certification (to facilitate Chapter 8 installation)
• Excellent verbal skills
• the ability to communicate in Welsh is a distinct advantage
• The ability to report abnormalities to the Foreman and keep accurate cleansing records
• Driving License is required for this job
