Job Description:

We are urgently looking to recruit an additional Shopfloor Cleaner for our manufacturing site here on Ainley's Industrial Estate in Elland. Working as a cleaner and part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining the production environment to the best standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all walkways in the department are cleaned daily and kept clear from obstruction
  • Ensure that the floor is cleaned weekly with the floor cleaner
  • Report faults, breakdowns with any cleaning equipment to the department production manager and maintenance
  • Ensure all areas between shop floor machines are kept clean and free from debris to allow a safe working area
  • Clean all barriers around the facility as per schedule
  • Clean up after any water, oil from leaks spills onto the shop floor
  • Work safely and within the environmental rules for the company
  • Ensure any waste water, oil or any other debris cleaned from the shop floor is disposed of in the correct manner and into the correct containers
  • Carry out any other duties as and when requested by production manager
  • Fulfil any reasonable request

Requirements:

  • Cleaning experience: 1 year required
  • Previous industrial cleaning experience is essential
