Job Description:

Arriva is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner/Labourer to support the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of our depot and vehicles. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in keeping our operation running smoothly for both colleagues and customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cleaning offices, communal areas, restrooms, workshops, and depot facilities
  • Maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles, including driver cabins
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising work areas
  • Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste safely
  • Replenishing cleaning supplies and toiletries
  • Supporting basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor fixes
  • Assisting with moving equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Carrying out outdoor duties including litter picking and general tidying
  • Following all health & safety procedures and reporting hazards or defects

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning or labouring experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive
