Job Description:

Join our team that shares your Passion & Heart for Canadian agriculture! Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Cleaner Intern for our Milling division based in Lethbridge, AB. This is a term position from May 2026 to September 2026. This internship is a paid position. Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace and for the housekeeping and sanitation in the Flour Mill.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain the high level of housekeeping and sanitation standard in the Mill
  • Relieve the 2nd Miller to cover off vacations and/or emergency needs
  • Assist the Millers and 2nd Millers in some repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Comply with all related Standard Operating Procedures and complete all required reports according to BRC/HACCP/Food Safety program
  • Follow and comply with all policies and procedures under the Health and Safety program

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Food Science, Millwright, Maintenance or related field program
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
  • Ability to work on shift, overtime and weekends if required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a dusty and high noise environment

Nice to have:

Previous experience working in a grain terminal or flour mill operations is an asset
