An understanding of health and safety practices in a depot environment

Job Responsibility

Perform thorough cleaning of Workshop around and inside pits, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down all surfaces
Clean and sanitize washroom facilities
Undertake exterior bus washing using automated washing equipment or manual methods as required
Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with company procedures
Report any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning to the appropriate department
Safely and efficiently move buses within the depot premises, ensuring they are parked in designated areas for maintenance, fueling, or departure
Maneuver buses for washing, fueling, and parking, adhering to all depot safety regulations and speed limits
Assist with the preparation of vehicles for service, including checking basic fluid levels and tire pressures as instructed
Operate fueling equipment to refuel buses accurately and safely
Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or issues with fueling equipment
