Job Description:

Cleaner required at Devon County Hall. Exeter, Devon - EX2 4QD. £26,438.07 pro-rata (based on a 40 hour working week), equivalent to £12.71/hour. 15 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 4:30pm-7:30pm. South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines. We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Devon County Hall on a permanent, part-time, basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor
  • Ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures
  • Delivering high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility

Requirements:

  • Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment
  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
  • Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage but not required as full training is provided
