We are a seeking dedicated classroom teacher to join our vibrant learning community in Reservoir North. Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
Requirements
An understanding of the MACS 2030 Strategy, including the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement
A passion for teaching and building strong relationships with students
The ability to lead the learning in the classroom including principals of explicit instruction e.g. retrieval and review, checking for understanding and provision of purposeful feedback etc
An ability to foster a classroom culture where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities
A collaborative mindset and commitment to working with our school community to improve student learning outcomes
Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and evidence-based teaching practices
The ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences for all students
Proficiency in the use of technology to enhance student learning
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a commitment to undertake this study in the future
A willingness to comply with the school's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct

The successful applicant will hold the current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification
