Classroom Teacher

• Collaborate with others as part of a specialist team working towards improving learning outcomes for all students in their care
• Passion for outdoor education and an understanding of catering to a diverse community is essential

• Be faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents
• Strong behaviour management practices
• Curriculum knowledge in all areas including Health and Physical Education - Movement and Physical Activity and ability to engage students in inclusive ways in this area of the curriculum
• Ability to administrate whole school sporting events, organise external sporting events and interschool events with strong understanding of compliance and risk management
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable
• Be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
• Have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
• Have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education' and our Privacy statement
• Hold a current VIT registration
