Job Responsibility:
Curriculum Delivery: Planning and executing high-quality, ambitious lessons that align with a knowledge-rich curriculum
Progress Management: Using diagnostic assessment to track pupil attainment and implementing swift, effective interventions where necessary
Subject Leadership: Taking responsibility for the development and monitoring of a specific curriculum area across the whole school
Collaborative Planning: Working alongside phase colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent, high-quality offering for all pupils
Professional Mentoring: Guiding and supporting classroom assistants to ensure they are utilised effectively to drive pupil outcomes
Parental Partnership: Building strong, transparent relationships with families to support pupils' holistic development and home learning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this position
A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and the latest evidence-based pedagogical research
Proven ability to maintain a calm, purposeful, and high-achieving classroom environment
