Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 2 Classroom Teacher to join our academic family. This role is a maternity cover position focused on promoting effective learning and the social and personal progress of all pupils.

Job Responsibility:

  • Effective Instruction: Use diverse methods and resources to enable all students to acquire new skills and knowledge
  • Assessment: Use assessment information effectively to plan precise next steps in student learning
  • Environment: Create a well-organized, stimulating learning environment that fosters independent and collaborative work
  • Behavior & Discipline: Secure high standards of behavior using effective strategies for classroom discipline
  • Professionalism: Fully participate in the performance management system and engage in CPD activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching across Key Stage 2, either through teaching practice or a current post
  • The ability to interest, engage, and provide appropriate levels of challenge for students
  • A good understanding of the National Curriculum and current best practices in teaching and learning
  • A dedication to safeguarding students and an understanding of equality of opportunity issues
