The Role: As a Classroom Support Assistant, you'll embark on a rewarding journey, learning from experienced professionals and directly contributing to the delivery of high-quality education to our students. Working under the guidance of Qualified Teachers and our specialist team, you will: Provide direct one-to-one and small group support to students in the classroom. Assist in implementing individualised learning programmes and behaviour support plans. Help students achieve their academic, social, and communication goals. Support the implementation of strategies based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviours. Contribute to the use of Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling (CABAS) teaching methodologies, ensuring data collection and progress monitoring. Help create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and other support staff. Participate in regular training and professional development sessions. Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials.
