Job Description:

Are you an experienced TA or youth worker looking for a new challenge in a Liverpool secondary school? We are currently recruiting for adaptable, proactive individuals to join our support teams across the city.

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping students stay on track and engaged during core subjects
  • Leading focused intervention groups for Literacy or Numeracy
  • Guiding individual students who need an extra boost with their classwork
  • Explaining complex instructions in a simple, step-by-step way for learners
  • Promoting a positive and focused atmosphere in the classroom
  • Setting up equipment for Science, Art, or PE lessons
  • Ensuring student safety and positive social interaction during lunch and break times
  • Keeping brief notes on student successes to share with the Class Teacher

Requirements:

  • Previous work with children or teens (coaching, youth work, or classroom)
  • Clear, confident, and patient speaking and writing skills
  • A calm, steady approach when students are having a tough day
