Job Description:

Classroom Supervisor role at a large, diverse and inclusive mixed Secondary School in Islington, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Full-time, term-time only position starting September 2025.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver lessons in the absence of teaching staff across KS3, KS4 or KS5
Support pupils in accessing and engaging with set work, providing guidance with literacy, numeracy, and organisation as needed
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil behaviour, engagement and lesson outcomes
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils

Requirements:

Solid understanding of the Secondary curriculum
Prior classroom experience is essential
Degree-qualified with a strong academic background
Energetic, creative and passionate about working with young people
A good grasp of teaching standards
Committed, proactive and eager to develop within an educational setting
