We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Classroom Monitor to oversee operations at a testing site in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves ensuring smooth check-in procedures, maintaining security standards, and monitoring test-takers during credentialing and certification exams. As this is a long-term contract role, it offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stability and a dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist test-takers with check-in procedures, including verifying identification and ensuring compliance with security protocols
  • Monitor the testing area regularly, walking through every 10-15 minutes to ensure adherence to exam rules and prevent cheating
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure prohibited materials, such as calculators and notes, are not brought into the testing area
  • Operate web-based testing systems efficiently and ensure smooth execution of all scheduled exams
  • Perform light administrative tasks, including maintaining records and assisting with general office duties
  • Provide guidance and support to test-takers, addressing any questions or concerns during the testing process
  • Maintain a calm and organized environment conducive to focused test-taking
  • Utilize computer applications and software to manage testing operations effectively
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and security standards throughout all testing procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in administrative or monitoring roles
  • Proficiency in using computers and web-based applications
  • Ability to perform regular physical activity, including walking and standing, to monitor the testing area
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce rules and regulations consistently
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with test-takers and staff

  • Support in-person trainings and events by greeting attendees, responding to questions, and providing any needed technical assistance
  • Act as primary contact for the facilitators/hosts of in-person and virtual trainings to ensure room set up and equipment meets the needs of the class
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for onboarding and training events, as needed
  • Assist with the development of new training material as needed
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
