Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue is a vibrant and welcoming primary academy where our youngest children are given the care, encouragement and opportunities they need to flourish. We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed EYFS Teacher who understands that Early Years education is the gateway to lifelong learning. Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver stimulating learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a rich indoor and outdoor environment that encourages curiosity, exploration and purposeful play
Support children's communication, personal, social and emotional development
Observe, assess and record children's progress effectively to inform next steps
Establish calm routines and consistent expectations that promote a sense of safety and belonging
Foster independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning
Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure high-quality provision for all children
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support learning beyond the classroom
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote children's wellbeing at all times
Engage positively in professional development and contribute to the wider life of the academy
Requirements:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has a secure understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
Is nurturing, patient and enthusiastic about early learning
Maintains high expectations for children's development and behaviour
Creates vibrant, well-organised learning spaces that invite exploration
Builds trusting, positive relationships with children and families
Reflects on practice and is keen to develop professionally
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to academy life
Shares a commitment to the Oasis ethos and the Oasis 9 Habits
