Job Description:

Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue is a busy, friendly and inclusive primary academy where children are encouraged to be happy, confident learners who achieve genuine success. Located at the heart of the local community, we are proud of our caring, supportive environment and our commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for all children. We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic (Year / Key Stage) Teacher who shares our commitment to Happily Achieving Primary Success. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners who believe in nurturing children's confidence, curiosity and aspirations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate children and bring learning to life
  • Provide learning experiences that enable pupils of all abilities to achieve success across the curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to inform next steps and secure strong outcomes
  • Help children develop confidence, independence and ownership of their learning
  • Create a safe, caring and well-organised learning environment where children feel supported to take risks and learn from mistakes
  • Promote positive behaviour, mutual respect and tolerance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers and the wider school community
  • Promote safeguarding and support pupils' emotional, physical and social wellbeing
  • Engage fully in professional development and wider academy initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A passion for primary education and for helping children succeed
  • High expectations of pupils' learning, behaviour and personal development
  • The ability to create engaging, stimulating and inclusive classroom environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building positive relationships
  • A reflective and resilient approach to professional practice
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to academy life
