This is an exciting opportunity to work with a hard-working and dedicated staff and wonderful children who live our school motto of; Aim high… Work hard… Be kind… William Harding School is a four-form entry primary school, but we pride ourselves on maintaining a small school feel within each year group.

Requirements:

  • Unqualified or Qualified teacher status
  • Degree for Qualified teacher
  • Successful primary teaching experience
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
  • A good understanding of how children learn
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
  • A passion for teaching
  • A commitment to working hard to ensure that all pupils succeed
  • Excellent teaching skills and subject knowledge
  • A positive drive, energy and initiative
  • A desire to be part of a large school that has high standards
  • Effective communication with pupils, staff, parents and wider community
