Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned to our curriculum and academy priorities
Assess, monitor and report on the progress and achievements of all pupils
Contribute to preparing children for external assessments
Create a safe, positive and well organised learning environment
Maintain excellent behaviour, order and discipline in line with our expectations
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and pupil outcomes
Communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
Promote safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children
Participate in professional development, performance review and wider academy initiatives
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification
A committed and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with strong teaching skills
High expectations for every child’s learning, progress and behaviour
Ability to create a positive, engaging and well organised learning environment
Strong relationship building skills rooted in respect, care and clear communication
A reflective approach and willingness to learn, improve and share best practice
A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to our supportive staff team
