Job Description:

Oasis Academy Aspinal is a warm, inclusive primary academy at the heart of our community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated (Year/KS) Teacher who shares our passion for transforming lives through learning. Whether you are an ECT or experienced practitioner, we welcome teachers who are committed to ensuring every child thrives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned to our curriculum and academy priorities
  • Assess, monitor and report on the progress and achievements of all pupils
  • Contribute to preparing children for external assessments
  • Create a safe, positive and well organised learning environment
  • Maintain excellent behaviour, order and discipline in line with our expectations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and pupil outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
  • Promote safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children
  • Participate in professional development, performance review and wider academy initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification
  • A committed and enthusiastic classroom practitioner with strong teaching skills
  • High expectations for every child’s learning, progress and behaviour
  • Ability to create a positive, engaging and well organised learning environment
  • Strong relationship building skills rooted in respect, care and clear communication
  • A reflective approach and willingness to learn, improve and share best practice
  • A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to our supportive staff team
  • Alignment with the Oasis ethos and the Oasis 9 Habits
  • A genuine belief that all children can achieve and thrive
