Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Full Time | June or September 2026 Start. Are you an inspiring primary teacher looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact? We are seeking a passionate and committed Class Teacher to join a friendly, high‑performing primary team on a maternity contract. Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that follow the curriculum and school expectations
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing high‑quality feedback and reporting
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils, including SEND, EAL and more‑able learners
  • Prepare pupils for assessments and ensure they make consistent, meaningful progress
  • Maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment with effective behaviour management
  • Take part in staff development, training, mentoring or appraisal as required
  • Contribute actively to curriculum development, whole‑school projects and enrichment activities
  • Uphold professional standards, safeguarding duties and the values of the school

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree
