Are you a passionate, dedicated, and innovative Class Teacher ready to shape the future of special education? We're thrilled to announce the opening of a new temporary provision for children with special educational needs, starting September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering team, with the exciting prospect of transitioning to a brand-new, purpose-built Free School once completed. The Opportunity: As a Class Teacher at our new provision, you'll be at the heart of its development. You'll be responsible for delivering creative and highly differentiated lessons that truly support our pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for every child.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families
  • Utilise appropriate communication methods to support diverse learners
  • Monitor and report effectively on pupil progress
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of all pupils

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
  • Creative, adaptable, and truly passionate about education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
