Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
Proven experience as a class A CDL driver with a satisfactory MVR driving record
Current DOT Physical and Medical Card
Knowledge of applicable federal, state and industry truck driving rules and regulations on public roads and private properties
Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift
Must have tractor trailer experience or yard jockey experience

Job Responsibility

Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all CDL regulations and Lazer's guidelines
Transport trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and industry regulations
Ensure proper handling of equipment and products for our customers in accordance with agreed services
Communicate and work effectively with dispatchers, customers, team members and/or third-party vendors working in the designated work location
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents

Works outdoors year round in seasonal temperatures with noise exposure of 96.2 db

When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity

Job Responsibility

Operates jockey truck transferring trailers to and from the processing area
Ensures that trailers are processed in the order designated by management
Ensures that YMS (Yard Management System) is updated and policy followed
Keeping the yard organized and in order
Perform pre-op inspection of vehicle and post-op cleaning daily and managed the refer units(settings) in the yard
Yard checks are done 2 times in a 24hr period
Helping the vendors and service techs
Being able to operate the Yard tractor computer and being able to enter the yard check in the system
Communicate with the gate, the dock office, and management
Responsible for seal integrity and the reporting of an accurate /verified case count and condition of product during deliveries
