Job Responsibility

  • Navigate tandem-axle trucks across regional routes to transport high-pressure cylinders and cryogenic materials with uncompromising safety
  • Outmaneuver daily traffic and logistical hurdles throughout Leduc, Nisku, and Greater Edmonton to guarantee critical, on-time arrivals
  • Validate compliance and cargo security by managing strict TDG documentation and executing precise loading and bracing techniques
  • Cultivate elite client relationships at every drop-off site, acting as our primary face-to-face problem solver and brand ambassador
  • Synchronize with the warehouse team between routes to pick, stage, and organize inventory so the fleet is primed for the next shift
  • Enforce all commercial vehicle regulations and provincial safety mandates to protect yourself, the cargo, and the community
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload your truck with cylinders
  • Assist in picking cylinders for the deliveries
  • Use a handheld electronic scanner to document all cylinder activity
  • Load skids by hand with cylinders at the work site and customer sites
  • Create and maintain accurate manifests, ensure all vehicle and shipping documents are up to date
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships
  • Identify and monitor customers’ needs
  • Drive a tandem truck, complete accurate maintenance records, perform daily checks

Requirements

  • Minimum Class 3 Drivers license with air brakes
  • Valid forklift license
  • Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract, valid within 30 days
