Are you an experienced Class 3 flatbed driver looking for a stable, permanent opportunity in Vaudreuil? Our client, a leading company in its sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Class 3 truck driver to join their dynamic team within the manufacturing & logistics division. In this permanent day-shift role, you will be responsible for the local delivery of varied goods, including wide and large loads, across different Montreal boroughs. If you possess excellent handling skills for a flatbed truck driver and are looking for a physically engaging role where safety is prioritized, this manufacturing & logistics opportunity is the perfect fit for you

Job Responsibility

  • Conduire un camion plate-forme de classe 3 de manière sécuritaire et professionnelle à travers les arrondissements de Montréal
  • Effectuer la livraison de cargaisons larges, volumineuses et lourdes chez les clients
  • Assurer l'amarrage, le sanglage et le chaînage rigoureux de la cargaison avant chaque départ
  • Inspecter le véhicule avant et après chaque quart de travail (Ronde de sécurité) et signaler toute anomalie
  • Manipuler les équipements de levage ou collaborer à l'utilisation de l'accessoire HIAB si applicable
  • Offrir un service à la clientèle courtois et professionnel lors de la réception des marchandises
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe de répartition en fabrication et logistique pour optimiser les trajets

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in operating heavy trucks within dense urban environments
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding labor
  • Strong knowledge of cargo securement techniques (straps, chains, winches)
  • Knowledge or experience operating a HIAB crane attachment (strong asset)
  • Acute awareness of road safety and strict adherence to transport regulations
  • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork mindset in manufacturing & logistics
  • Valid Class 3 (or higher) driver's license with a clean driving record (abstract)
  • Proven experience working as a Class 3 flatbed driver
  • Physical capability to perform daily strapping, chaining, and heavy lifting of cargo
  • Comfort and confidence navigating wide and oversized loads through Montreal streets

Knowledge or experience operating a HIAB crane attachment
