Are you a safety-first driver who takes pride in navigating the backbone of Alberta’s industrial sector? We are looking for a dedicated Class 3 Delivery Driver to join our team in Leduc. This isn’t just a driving job; you are the face of our company and a critical link in our clients' supply chains. From the shops in Nisku to remote sites across Alberta, you ensure the energy and manufacturing sectors have the gases they need to keep moving.
Job Responsibility:
Operate a tandem-axle truck loaded with high-pressure compressed gas cylinders and cryogenic liquids
Navigate urban and industrial routes (primarily Edmonton/Nisku) to provide timely, door-to-door service
Master the loading, unloading, and securing of cylinders
Ensure all products are properly labeled and documented according to TDG standards
Act as front-line representative by resolving delivery issues on-site
Assist the yard and warehouse teams with picking, staging, and organizing orders
Operate a forklift to load and unload your truck with cylinders
Assist in picking cylinders for the deliveries
Use a handheld electronic scanner to document all cylinder activity
Load skids by hand with cylinders at the work site and customer sites
Create and maintain accurate manifests, ensure all vehicle and shipping documents are up to date
Establish and maintain good customer relationships
Identify and monitor customers' needs
Drive a tandem truck, complete accurate maintenance records, perform daily checks
Ensure proper load securement, adhere to Transport Canada's policies
Ensure all safety policies are strictly adhered to
Assist with other warehouse tasks as required
Requirements:
Minimum Class 3 Drivers license with air brakes
Valid forklift license
Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract, valid within 30 days
Experience with handling Dangerous Goods
Ability to move / roll cylinders weighing 170lbs, and lift boxes weighing 60lbs
Provide a full CV(a detailed resumé) showing previous 3 years employment
A valid Class 3 (or higher) Driver's License with a clean commercial abstract
Proven experience operating tandem-axle trucks and a firm grasp of Dangerous Goods handling protocols
Physical stamina is a must
Safety-first internal compass and ability to work independently
Strong familiarity with the Leduc, Nisku, and Greater Edmonton road networks
