C+E Driving Licence is essential
at least 2 years commercial driving experience
good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas
customer focused experience
good physical health
flexible approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required
adhere to all health & safety practice

Job Responsibility

Delivering/collecting the company’s units and equipment to its customers
inspecting all units and equipment on collection to ensure it is in good order, recording all visible damage
ensuring all necessary company paperwork is completed in the correct manner
driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous and responsible manner
operating all lifting equipment in a safe manner
loading and unloading plant and equipment in accordance with safe practice
carrying out daily checks of vehicle and any lifting / holding equipment

High School diploma or equivalent
Class A CDL and Tanker Endorsement
Two(2) to three (3) years of Class A Driving experience is a must
Must have excellent safety management, time management, and customer focus
Deadline-oriented and dependable
Must be able to lift 60lbs
Know, understand and abide by DOT regulations
Must pass background check, physical and drug testing
Lift various materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Operate a tractor which pulls either a tank wagon or trailer

Job Responsibility

Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer/tank truck
Unloads Pallet Jack
Fully analyze, cross check and confirm accuracy of paperwork with cargo before departure
Gathers necessary tools before departure
Drives long distances for customer delivery and pick up
Reports to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road
Monitors road conditions and watch for traffic congestion
Follows all applicable traffic laws
Inspects their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find
Follows accident procedures if an accident occurs
