HGV Class 2 Driver – Southampton Location: Hampshire Highways Depot Rate: £165 per day (Umbrella or CIS) Job Type: Ongoing Work . Platinum People are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a highways maintenance team operating across the Hampshire road network. . Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 start (typically 8–9 hours per day) . Role Overview: Working as part of a two-person crew, you will be responsible for responding to highway defects, including pothole repairs and general carriageway maintenance. The role involves operating a Class 2 vehicle while adhering to strict health, safety, and quality standards.
