Class 2 HGV Driver

• Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and responsibly in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
• Deliver goods promptly and efficiently to customers across assigned routes within North Lanarkshire and neighbouring regions
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report any defects or issues immediately
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged during transit
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment
• Represent Lathams Limited professionally at all times, providing excellent customer service

• Valid Class 2 HGV driving licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles in a distribution or warehouse environment is highly desirable
• Good knowledge of North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transport regulations
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Physically fit and able to load/unload goods as required
• Willingness to work full-time, including occasional early starts or late finishes as operational needs demand

Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles in a distribution or warehouse environment is highly desirable
