Job Description:

Class 1 drivers needed for ongoing, full-time roles with a transport and logistics company in Portbury near Bristol. Monday to Friday shifts (16:00, 17:00, or 18:00 starts) trunking to Yorkshire, Liverpool, or Northampton. Shifts are 10-12 hours long. Drivers are employed through Blue Arrow to work at the client on an ongoing basis. Only PAYE drivers accepted.

Job Responsibility:

Trunking to specified locations (Yorkshire, Liverpool, Northampton)
Helping to off load items as required
Adhering to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Health and Safety and relevant Driving laws and regulations
Performing vehicle checks and reporting any faults or defects
Following rules on fuel economy and harsh breaking
Liaising with the depot

Requirements:

Valid C+E category driving licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences (no MS90, IN10, DD or DR or similar endorsements)
Access to own transport
Willing to pass an assessment (questionnaire, eyesight check, vehicle check, actual drive, classroom training)
Previously worked in a 7.5tonne or Class 2 role (for newly qualified C+E drivers)
