Class 1 Driver

• Take responsibility for collections and deliveries, operating a curtain-sided trailer with professionalism and care
• Ensure every load is safely secured, using ratchet straps and carrying out some manual handling to maintain the highest safety standards
• Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery documentation accurately and efficiently, keeping the process smooth and streamlined
• Maintain regular communication with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
• Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up to date with industry best practices and continuously enhancing your skills

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work to deadlines

• Good geographical knowledge
